Cerebral apoplexy has been the top cause of death in Japan since 1951. This count reached its peak in 1970 claiming 170, 000 lives. As is the phenomenon common in other countries, the number of cerebral hemorrhages has been decreasing, while, cerebral thrombosis tends to increase. Needless to say it is important to make an early diagnosis of apoplexy, and to use in good time various fibroly-sins, thrombodym (heparins) medicines to inhibit cerebral edema and medicines acting on the cerebral circulation by expending or contracting cerebral blood vessels. At the same time, I believe in the effectiveness of the heart massage by needling and ETT that I developed. These therapies will save patients who are in a critical condition.
