Abstract
The patients of gastric cancer who refuses or can not be performed a surgical operation in stead of their severe complications, has sometimes caused our confusions on clinical practice. So various conservative therapies has to be selected. The experience of endoscopical injection with anticancer drug for 21 cases of gastric cancer is described in this paper.
Neocazinostatin (NCS) as anticancer drugs is used in our clinic because of its function of disturbing of DNA synthesis and cell division. NCS is injected into the lesion of gastric cancer by fine needle through endoscopy as 2, 000 U/2 ml per one manipulation.
The progress of morphological and cytological change of cancer cells were observed. Minimal cytological changes were noticed at one to two weeks after injection. After three weeks, coalescence of cell membrane, remarkable anisocytosis, various and opaque staining property and vacuolisation in cytoplasm were increased. Then irregular nuclear membrane, coarse granular chromatin and distended nucleolus were observed. At last the cancer cell were necrotic.
