抄録

The effect of operating pressure on freeboard temperature distribution, which has a strong effect on N₂O emission, in a pressurized fluidized bed incinerator of sewage sludge, was estimated by a computational analysis and compared with experiments. A local high-temperature zone was found to appear in the freeboard under the pressurized conditions in the combustor. This suggests the substantial reduction of N₂O concentration in the high-temperature zone due to N₂O destruction reaction.
