Current status of Hydrological Research Letters in 2016

Abstract

 Current status of Hydrological Research Letters (HRL) have been assessed based on the Google Scholar database. The 5-year mean citation per article per year is lower than that of the last year, but HRL is still in the top 10 for both the hydrology and water resources Google Scholar journal Rankings, although HRL is not ranked due to less than 100 articles in the latest 5 years. HRL will get more awareness from researchers in hydrology and water resources after HRL is included in major scientific databases.
