The Hokkaido branch of the Japan Society for Intellectual Production was established in 2009 and has been contributing to the promotion of industry-academia-government-finance collaboration by planning and organizing various events. In 2018, the branch launched a website and has been making efforts to disseminate information. In February 2020, the Hokkaido branch was one of the first to establish a page dedicated to information on how to respond to the spread of the new coronavirus on risk management. In FY2022, the branch began holding the “Liaison Communication Seminars” on an ongoing basis. The Hokkaido branch hopes to make further contributions to the promotion of industry-academia collaboration in Hokkaido by holding these events and cooperating with related organizations and groups.
