The background of the establishment and the status of the activities of the Kansai-Chu-Shikoku branch (B150) which was established in 2009 was described. The Kansai-Chu-Shikoku branch hosts Meeting for Research and Case study Presentation once a year. At this meeting, the members of the branch mainly present research results and cases of their activities. In addition, not only our society members, but also those who are in charge of Industry - Academia collaboration activities in the relevant area can make presentations at this meeting, for creating an opportunity to join our society. The content of the presentations in this meeting has expanded from industry-academia collaboration to intellectual property, regional collaboration, education, etc., and it can be seen that the diversification of industry-academia collaboration is progressing. In the future, various trials will be required in the activities of this branch.
