Abstract
22q11.2 deletion syndrome is caused by deletion of the long arm 11.2 region of chromosome 22, and often has tetralogy of Fallot as the clinical manifestation of the disease. A 39-year-old woman with 22q11.2 deletion syndrome with tetralogy of Fallot visited our dental clinic for dental treatment. In cooperation with the pediatric department of the general hospital, the tooth was extracted during hospitalization while monitoring the electrocardiogram. There were no abnormal findings during and after the operation, and the patient was discharged from the hospital.
