Abstract
W doped VO2 nano coating on the SiO2 particles were examined with controlling the process parameter, by sol-gel method. Residual water in VO2-SiO2 hybrid sol was evaporated at 150°C, and residual organic matter was burned at 250°C. As a result, VO2 phase was obtained with the 83 % concentration in Vanadium oxides. Additionally, a tungsten doping method into VO2-SiO2 particles was investigated by changing solvents. Using 2-Methoxyethanol for the solvent, W-doped VO2-SiO2 particles with the W atomic% of 1.8 were obtained, and the transition temperature of the resulting particles was 53°C.
