Abstract
Effect of oxygen deficiency of BiSrCaCu2Ox on its superconductivity was studied. The resistance decrease of BiSrCaCu2Ox, fired at 870°C for 16 h, at about 110K increased from 80% to 86%, when the sample is annealed at 850°C in O2 atmosphere. By TG and DTA analysis, a lowering of melting temperature was observed when the sample is heated in Ar atmosphere.
