Abstract
The influence of the processing on the superconducting characteristics was investigated for the new high-Tc Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-O ceramics. The critical temperature Tc, zero and the critical current density Jc at 77K under zero magnetic field were strongly dependent on the sintering temperature. Further, the Jc was also dependent on the sintering time. The specimen sintered at 845°C for 90h showed maximum values of 105K and 56A/cm2.
