Abstract
Influences of repressing and resintering on grain orientation of superconductive YBa2Cu3Oy ceramics were investigated.. Especially, infuluence of lubricants addition such as Ag, AgO or Ag2O on grain orientation and densification were studied by means of X-ray diffraction analysis and SEM observations; (1) First treat of repressing by static oil press and conventional resintering affected the densification, especially, Ag2O addition was favorable. On the other hand, more than 2 times of treats decreased the densities of specimens. (2) Dynamical working (swaging) affected both the densification and the grain orientation. (3) Critical current density(Jc) of swaged sample was about 25 times larger than that of as sintered sample.
