The high temperature electrical resistivity of Bi2Sr2CaCu2Oy superconductor was studied in H2 of 0.9atm or 2.Oatm. Sudden increase of electrical resistivity was obsereved above 200°C during the heating process both in 0.9atm and 2.0atm H2 gas, and it was confirmed that this phenomenon well corresponded to the distinct weight loss observed above about 200°C. An increase of Tc(on) was recognized for specimens heat-treated at 100°Cor 150°C in H2 gas. For example, the Tc(on) of the specimen heat-treated at 150°C in H2 gas of 2.0atm was 93K which is higher by about 13K than that of the as-sintered specimen.
