Colocolic intussusception caused by juvenile polyp is very rare. A 2-year-old girl was admitted to ourhospital because of recurrent colocolic intussusception. Since there was the possibility of an organic lesion, a colonoscope was conducted under general anesthesia. We found a polyp with a severe inflamatric pedicle on the left side of the transverse colon. Because of this, we chose to give up endoscopic polypectomy and performed laparotomy. A histopatholgical study of the excised specimen confirmed juvenile polyp. There was no recurrence of colocolic intussuscepion post-operation.
