Selection of the Handy Grip Size of the Kitchen Knife for Elementary School Child

Abstract
  In order to select the handy grip size of the kitchen knife for elementary school child, the relation between the grip size of the peel kitchen knife and the size of hand and fingers were investigated. Three different thickness grips were installed in the each peel kitchen knives and weights of three peel kitchen knives were made up equal. Usually, the big size grip was installed in vegetable kitchen knife or fish kitchen knife, middle size grip was installed in smaller fish kitchen knife, and small size was installed in peel kitchen knife. Upper-classes children and adults chose bigger grip, and lower-classes and middle-classes children chose the slender grip as handy grip size. Generally the grip size of kitchen knife is fitted the length of edge, but the grip size of kitchen knife is better to fit the user's hand size for handiness.
