Based on the examination of the type material, we propose to treat Arge captiva watanabei WEI, XIAO and ZHANG, 1999, as a full species, Arge watanabei WEI, XIAO and ZHANG, 1999, and Arge tuberculata HARA and SHINOHARA, 2008, as a junior synonym of Arge minitincisita WEI, 2002. We redescribe Arge watanabei and discuss the characters distinguishing it from Arge captiva (SMITH, 1874)
