Ogasawarazo daitoensis Voss was rediscovered 48 years after the first collection on both Kitadaito- and Minamidaito-jima Islands, the Daito Islands, southwest Japan. Some biological information is provided for the first time with suggestion of the urgent survey necessity for conservation.
