Three New Species of Curculionine Weevils from Taiwan, with a List of All the Known Taiwanese Species (Coleoptera, Curculionidae)

Abstract

Three curculionine species, Curculio uedai sp. nov., Curculio choui sp. nov. and Carponinus castaneus sp. nov. are described. Curculio kojimai MORIMOTO, 1960 is synonimized with C. sauteri (HELLER, 1927). Curculio hirashimai MORIMOTO is transferred to the genus Indocurculio. A key to genera and species of Taiwanese Curculionini is given with their habitus.
