Occurrence of Agrilus senohi Tôyama (Coleoptera: Buprestidae) in Japan: Diagnosis, Additional Description, and Sexual Dimorphism of Tarsal Claws

Abstract

This study newly records Agrilus senohi Tôyama, 1988 from Honshu and Kyushu, Japan, and provides its diagnosis and additional description of morphology including the hind wing, tarsal claws, male and female genitalia, etc. Several sexual dimorphisms are newly found in A. senohi, and the pattern of the sexual dimorphism in the tarsal claws are discussed.
