Despite the importance of terminology in translation assets of a company or organization, systematic translation, especially terminology management, is often neglected. Some believe terminology management is no longer important in the era of neural machine translation, but this is a misunderstanding. On the contrary, it has only increased its significance. It analyzes current issues in systematic translation and explains the concepts of translation quality and terminology management expertise. Finally, it introduces terminology management using the simple glossary format UTX established by the Asia Pacific Machine Translation Association (AAMT), along with its case studies.
