DX (Digital Transformation) is necessary for maintaining good relationships with customers, improving the performance, and continuing growth for the future. However, there are still few cases in Japan where DX has been successfully introduced. In order to increase the number of successful cases in the future, it is important to find the success factors of DX. Whether DX succeeds or fails depends on understanding the essence of DX. It is important not to confuse the means and purpose of DX. DX success factors include solving management issues that provide value to customers and employees, deep involvement of senior executives of companies and organizations, setting up an appropriate organization, and defining the capabilities of DX human resources. It is necessary to do and develop appropriate human resources.
