Tools for supporting the new normal workstyle

Abstract

After COVID-19, what can be called the New Normal working environment is taking shape. These can be described as a shift from WFH (Work from Home) to WFX (Work from X). The tools supporting such workstyles are expanding and enriching. However, as the WFX environment expands inside the company, and as collaboration with different companies, organizations and freelancers increases, the development of technology and services that enable zero-trust security is expected. Simultaneously, how individuals, companies/organizations and society will deal with technologies that support “Societies of Control”, such as location information and personal authentication, is an important perspective when considering future workstyles.
