Abstract

  The purpose of this paper introduces an overview of Pierre de Coubertin's view of sports. Coubertin was a French aristocrat and a founder of the modern Olympic games. On the second, the paper focuses on the extracting of the educational philosophy that underlies in him. The last, the conception of physical education in Japan after the Tokyo Olympic games reconsidered to comparison with the philosophy of Coubertin. The paper was concluded that his theory seems to have a strong relationship between the problems of French PE history and the theory of moral formation in physical training.
