Abstract
This study has examined some of the obstacles faced by native Thai speakers when learning voiced and voiceless sounds in Japanese. In order to ensure the best results when teaching Japanese pronunciation, it is important to focus not only on HOW and WHAT to teach, but also WHEN to teach it. The results of this study will suggest a method of how to teach Japanese pronunciation more effectively.
