Abstract
This paper reports on the result of a transitive-intransitive paired verbs survey test which were classified as morphological verb. A quiz and a test consisted classified transitive-intransitive paired verbs using the concept of Dotai-ron by Okutsu(1967) were given to 150 Chinese learners of Japanese language. The paper further analyzed the test results by examining it against the top 20% and the bottom 20% group from the result of the quiz. In conclusion, it is observed that acquiring intransitivization of verbs which already have morpheme is difficult to master in both groups.
