Abstract
In this paper, we report teaching demonstrations by students in the Japanese language teacher training course of our university. In this class, teaching demonstrations were given in workshop-style. In most of the cases, students gave teaching demonstrations in front of the rest of class as part of the teacher training course. However, in this class, the students worked together in small groups. They learned how to teach Japanese exceedingly from watching the performance of the other students closely and sharing their reflection.
