Some methods are now in use to analyse or calculate pore water pressure. The manual one is often adopted by engineers and probably the most popular of them. It, however, takes quite much time for staffs, but small differences will be resulted from other methods. The new integration methods for calculation of pore water pressure derived from theoretical consideration seems quite adaptable to micro or personal computers because the method needs only single parameter. This method gave small effect on the lower side in factor of safety (F. S.) for stability analysis of a landslide.
