On the level by level equivalence between strong compactness and strongness

Abstract

We construct a model in which the least strongly compact cardinal κ is also the least strong cardinal, κ isn't 2^κ supercompact, and for any δ<κ, if δ^+α is regular, δ is δ^+α strongly compact if and only if δ is δ+α+1 strong.
