Generalized double tilted algebras

Abstract

We introduce the class of generalized double tilted artin algebras and prove that it coincides with the class of artin algebras whose AR-quiver admits a faithful generalized standard almost directed component. A homological characterization of faithful generalized standard almost directed components is also established.
