A characterization of the group association scheme of A_n

In this paper, we investigate a certain fusion scheme ˜{\mathscr{X}}(A_n) of the group association scheme \mathscr{X}(A_n) of the alternating group of arbitrary degree n. In particular, under some extra assumption on `geometry of maximal cliques', we characterize ˜{\mathscr{X}}(A_n) by parameters.
