Abstract

In the context of international tourism, there is a lack of research on the intrinsic mechanisms related to tourists’ city identity. The purpose of this study is to clarify the impact of foreign tourists’ city walk experiences on psychological comfort, city identity, and revisit intention. The conceptual model proposed in this study was validated using covariance structure analysis. The analysis results indicate that different elements of international city walk experiences have varying degrees of influence on psychological comfort, which in turn affects tourists’ city identity and revisit intention. Additionally, it was confirmed that psychological comfort plays an important role in connecting international city walk experiences with city identity and revisit intention.
