Abstract

Direct access to physiotherapy is allowed in Australia. Thus, physiotherapy is in a competitive marketplace not only with other physiotherapy clinics, but also with other health care professions. Advancing a unique professional development is the key to differentiating yourself from others in an everchanging market. In this article, the author introduces an example of in-services practiced at private clinics and the career pathway of a physiotherapist who has a special interest in temporomandibular joint disorder, headache and migraine management.
