Abstract

  American institutional investors have been giving greater importance to climate-change-risk assessment in asset management. Hazard maps have been utilized to analyze risks that floods including high tides by typhoons hit each enterprise, while climate-change is to be reflected in Japanese hazard maps. Preparation of hazard maps based on climate-change predictions are anticipated for over-sea production bases or distribution networks, for example, in Southeast Asia, because many enterprises whose headquarters are located in Japan own over-sea bases.
