Abstract
This paper contains the results of observations of upper air current at selected atations in Japan. To this end the data are presented in a series of tables containing information in considerable detail.
In working out this paper, grateful acknowledgement is due Prof. T. Okada and Prof. S. Fujiwhara for their kind encouragement. Hearty thanks is also due to Messrs. M. Tanimoto, H. Hatakeyama and T. Ootani who carried on some of the tedious work of compiling and reducing the data. Special appreciation is also expressed Misses. S. Koyama, E. The data used in this paper, are the results of the pilot-balloon observations made at the Central Meteorological Observatory and sotne of the selected stations in Japan as follows:
