Cd_1-xMn_xTe 多層構造における磁気光学特性

抄録

The growth of Cd_1-xMn_xTe multilayered structures was made by ICB deposition technique, and their magneto-optical properties were investigated. From the results of X-ray diffraction measurements it was found that the films had a periodical structure. The dispersion peak of the Faraday rotation for the well layer shifts toward higher photon energy and becomes higher with decreasing well width. This is explained by the quantum effect of the confinement of electrons in the well layer.
