Temperature dependences of magnetic properties and Kerr spectra of MnBi and MnBiAl films below room temperature were investigated. It was found that the saturation magnetization increases about 5% and the Kerr rotation at wavelength 700 nm increases about 20% for MnBi film when the temperature is decreased from 300 to 80 K. No obvious influence on magnetic properties and no apparent variation in Kerr spectrum can be observed after doping of 5%Al in MnBi films.
