Abstract
The magnetic transducers utilizing the magnetostriction effect produces a larger output voltage and a greater overload capacity than the strain gage type transducers. For this reason, magnetostriction type transducers has so far been used widely in many fields, for instance, loadcell, tention meter, torque meter etc. In this paper, recent applications of them and their problems for practical use are described.
