Abstract
Recently, Flood Crisis Management Water Level Gauges have been installed, but their use
as a disaster response of the local community has not progressed. In this research, a questionnaire
survey was conducted in local governments of Mie Prefecture and the communities in Ise City,
because gauges may not be fully utilized in the local communities. As a result of this survey, it
was shown that the gauges are used by the local governments, but not by the local communities.
The result shows the issues that residents are unaware of the gauges and have not determined
how to utilize them yet.
