Abstract
Objective: We report a case of tentorial dural arteriovenous fistula (dAVF) fed by dural branches of bilateral superior cerebellar arteries.
Case presentation: A 74-year-old man presented dysarthria and vomiting. MRI revealed subarachnoid hemorrhage and cerebellar hemorrhage. Cerebral angiography demonstrated tentorial dAVF fed by dural branches of bilateral superior cerebellar arteries. After transarterial embolization using n-butyl-2-cianoacrylate (NBCA), the drainer was successfully coagulated and removed surgically.
Conclusion: A rare case of the dAVF fed by only dural branches of bilateral superior cerebellar arteries was reported. Treatment strategy based on precise vascular architecture was useful to obtain complete cure.
