Information Scientific Study on Medical Supplies (III)-Research Trend Analysis Using Time-series Development Lists-

Abstract

Time-series analyses of trends of researches on four drugs (penicillins, cephalosporins, β-blockers, and benzodiazepines)are made using Ringdoc and Central Patent Index data bases. From scientific papers and patent applications, the important research institutions on the four drugs are made known, and the direction of research of top priority and the most active research fronts as well. As a result, it was also established that, in addition to above research topics, these institutions are also actively engaged in researches on central nervous system drugs, cardiovascular drugs, and anti-infective drugs.
