Abstract
Chinese character information processing system in the Korea Scientific and Technological Information Center (KORSTIC) was introduced, which was improved from a Japanese system for the purpose of processing Korean language. In this paper the state of the art of Information services, the structure and processing of hangle letters, and the object of Korea Information Processing System (KIPS) and its future subjects were described.
