Abstract
Kanagawa Association of Special Libraries and Information Bureaus saw its 20th anniversary of the founding come round in 1981. Looking back its history the author describes the details of its inauguration, transition of the organization, management and various activities such as monthly study meetings, sectional meetings, lecture classes, issue of publications. The education and training for the members, and communication among them have been conducted through these activities. The role of this organization played in the local communities, and the future are mentioned.
