This paper is intended to contribute on readers' understanding on the present state of art of quality management in the European sector of information and some ways of introducing quality management into such a sector, based on an EUSIDIC's report, entitled "THE IMPACT ON QUALITY MANAGEMENT ON THE INFORMATION SECTOR". In particular, the activities of quality management of some database producers in the Europe are reviewed finally.
