The chemical substances indexing support system：New client/server type system of JICST Chemical Dictionary Database

Abstract

New client/server type system which supports the indexing of chemical substance to JICST file has been developed. This system enables that the chemical structure is displayed from the compound name described in the literature immediately. The indexer confirms whether the indexing name is right, and the name and connection table are registered into the dictionary (JICST Chemical Dictionary Database), and simultaneously, the name and substance number are indexed to JICST file. Outline and function of this support system are described.
