OpenStreetMap is a global activity aimed at creating open data maps. Because the created map data can be used freely by anyone and participants can participate in the creation of maps themselves, OpenStreetMap is also called "Map Wikipedia". In addition to being able to simply use a map as an image, its source data can be acquired and data processing is possible, so that its utilization is widely spread, including corporate activities and academic research. In this paper, we introduce the activities of communities around the world involved in the creation of OpenStreetMap and the maintenance situation and utilization by administration in Aizuwakamatsu city, Fukushima Prefecture.
