1) The distribution and value of cholinesterase (ChE) in various parts of normal dogs' brains, were constant without distinction of its individuality, sex and seasonable variation.
2) In the order of Nuc. lentiformis, cerebellar cortex, mesencephalon, Thalamus and cerebral cortex, these parts of the normal dogs' brains contain ChE, and especially the first one indicating a remarkably high value.
3) The ChE values in cerebral cortex, Thalamus, mesenephalon and cerebellar cortex did not vary in each stage of its convulsions.
4) In the Nuc. lentiformis a remarkable variation of ChE value was observebed, it decreased before the convulsion, and increased markably at its maximum stage of the convulsion and recovered almost to its normal value 30 minutes after convulsion.
5) In the case of convulsion caused by intravenous injection of “Cardiazol” acetylcholine metabolism in Nuc. lentiformis rises remarkably and from this point of view I consider that the Nuc. lentiformis has important relation to convulsion.
