In clinical orthodontics, many research findings have not been published as to differences of effect according to different periods at which orthodontic treatment is undertaken. In the present study, therefore, the author concerned himself with a comparative analysis of orthodontic effects as influenced by the earliness or lateness of a period at which orthodontic treatments are started on the part of the cases of maxillary protrusion.
