The Examination of HAMADA-shiki from the Point of View of the Area and Movement of Spreading Fire

Abstract

The expressions of the movements of spreading fire, for example HAMADA-shiki, HORIUCHI-shiki, etc. are too complicated to use and not so accurate to describe the movement of conflagration. By applying the multiple-regression analysis to HAMADA-shiki, this paper derives simple formula with which the area of the burned district is reckoned. Also it proposes simple expression of the movement of spreading fire and inspects it by the data of the conflagrations of this past.
