Probability Density Function of the Distance in Urban Facility Planning

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to derive the probability density function of the distance between residential location and community facility and applying it to urban facility planning. Also, using Voronoi diagram which is the main subject in computational Geometry, it is possible to derive the nearest-neighbour distance probability density function.
