Estimation by System Dynamics Model

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to develop the method which estimates the macroscopic effects on regional activities by large scale project and to show the fundamental data for the discussion on both feasibility and necessity of the regional planning, Kansai International Airport Project including regional improvements is considered as the case study, whose objective area is Osaka prefecture. System Dynamics (SD) method is applied to simulate the change of the industrial structure of the area and to estimate the effects by Airport Poject.
