Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to construct a practical integrated land use and transportation model. For this purpose the random utility theory has been applied to the Lowry framework. As a result, it is shown that the residential choice behavior of a household is expressed by a mathematical program. We consider the meaning of the program. Finally, we discuss the applicability of the developed model through a case study.
